Ethics & Integrity

Establishing Exemplary Standards

Maintaining our integrity stands as a cornerstone of our identity. We uphold standards that not only adhere to legal and regulatory mandates but also reflect our commitment to surpassing the expectations of our clients.

Business Integrity and Ethics

Our Code of Business Conduct and Ethics delineates fundamental principles to steer employee behavior. This code is underpinned by policies and initiatives aimed at fostering proper conduct among employees, further reinforced through comprehensive training programs.

We maintain a strict zero-tolerance policy towards any illegal or unethical behavior, as outlined in our pertinent policies. These encompass areas such as conflicts of interest, acceptance of gifts and hospitality, prevention of money laundering and counter-terrorism activities, fraud prevention, adherence to sanctions, management of external engagements, political contributions, and the prevention of bribery and corruption. Employees found in breach of the Code of Business Conduct and Ethics or any other company policy are subject to disciplinary measures.

At UK Trust, we hold those representing our organization to the same elevated standards. Accordingly, we undertake thorough due diligence on our business partners to assess associated risks, including the potential for corruption.

Building Trust, One Promise At A Time

UK Trust Anti-Corruption Compliance

At UK Trust, integrity is paramount. We uphold the highest ethical standards in all our business dealings, firmly committing to anti-bribery and corruption compliance. Our reputation rests on this foundation of integrity, and adherence to anti-corruption laws is integral to our operations. We maintain a zero-tolerance stance towards bribery and corruption, prohibiting any improper payments or gifts that could compromise ethical conduct.

Our comprehensive Global Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy mandates strict compliance with all relevant anti-corruption laws, including the US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and the UK Bribery Act of 2010. Additionally, we have implemented a range of policies to manage associated risks effectively, covering areas such as gifts and entertainment, third-party risk management, and fraud prevention.

To ensure understanding and compliance, all UK Trust employees undergo mandatory annual training on anti-bribery and corruption regulations. Furthermore, tailored trainings address specific risks associated with various businesses and jurisdictions, enhancing awareness and vigilance.

Our Global Anti-Bribery and Corruption Program, overseen by Compliance, undergoes regular assessment to evaluate control effectiveness and mitigate corruption risks. Any suspicions or violations of our policies can be reported through our Business Integrity Hotline or Integrity Reporting Website, ensuring swift investigation and appropriate action.

Transparency and accountability are fundamental to our governance structure, with relevant risk and governance committees overseeing investigations and ensuring compliance with our policies. The Board of Directors provides oversight of our risk management processes, further reinforcing our commitment to integrity and ethical conduct.
